Artificial intelligence use

Disclosure

Blackbeard Academy uses automated systems for certain operational tasks. None of these systems rely on generative artificial intelligence or a large language model (LLM).

Scope

Here is what our automated systems do and do not do:

• SMS OTP verification: a one-time code is sent automatically via Twilio to confirm your phone number. This is a deterministic system, not AI.
• No AI-generated content: all texts, images and communications are produced by humans.
• No AI-driven decisions: enrollment and verification decisions are made by an instructor, not by an algorithm.
